Mi 11T Pro | Is it an iPhone 13 killer?

Just one day after Apple launched their new iPhones, Xiaomi also announced the launching of their new Mi 11T Pro. This new flagship could be an awesome upgrade to the budget-friendly T series that you might find appealing. For more details and information, let’s find out with me below.

Battery

One of the first things that matter most in a smartphone is battery life, and Xiaomi knows that very well. To support all the features, this model is powered by a 5000mAh battery which is great for long-hour use. At the same time, it also supports proprietary fast charging that takes less time to fully charge. The surprising thing about Mi 11T Pro is that it comes with a 120W in-box charger. It is twice as fast as the Mi11, and it takes less than 20 minutes to juice up the phone.

Camera

A good smartphone has to be equipped with high-quality cameras, period. Since this new flagship is among the best smartphones from Xiaomi, the performance of its cameras is very reliable. The phone comes with a triple camera setup at the back with an autofocus function and higher megapixels. Those include a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 5-megapixel camera, with an incredible aperture in each camera. The main camera takes great pictures with bold colors and good contrast with a lot of detail.

As for the front selfie camera, it features a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.45 aperture. This is enough to take beautiful and bright selfies in most lighting conditions both indoor and outdoor. I love how nice the selfies turn out, simply perfect for people who love taking selfies. There is only a dot for the camera on the screen which looks so neat, perfect for full-view experience.

Display

When it comes to screen display, Xiaomi always comes very strong to ensure the best and satisfying performance. Mi 11T Pro boasts a 6.67-inch screen at 1080×2400 pixels with a fast and responsive touchscreen display. The screen is flat and wide, and the viewing area is the same size as the Mi 11. Speaking of screens, it also features the gorilla glass which is durable and tough to protect the phone. Simply put, Mi 11T Pro is resistant against minor bumps and drops that we usually have on a daily basis. It is a big phone, perfect for entertainment and similar purposes due to the convenience that it provides. Plus with the Dolby Atmos and Vision, both the audio and viewing experiences are simply flawless.

Performance

Not different from its recent siblings, Mi 11T Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Along with that, it comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. This phone is a dual-SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM cards and supports 3G, 4G, and 5G. Besides these, it also supports Bluetooth, GPS, Infrared, NFC, USB Type-C, and WiFi. You can easily unlock the phone using the responsive fingerprint sensor that takes under a second to scan your fingerprint.

Drawbacks

Nothing is perfect, and there is always room for improvement when it comes to smartphones. There are a few issues that I find inconvenient with this model, and I hope to see no more in the next models. The rear of the phone is not fingerprint-resistant so you will see your fingerprints on the back a lot. Maybe because I have short fingers, but I think the fingerprint scanner is hard to reach to scan. The last thing is the overheating issues since the phone tends to become warm quite fast. Most of the problems here are fixable with a phone case and longer fingers, but it could be better.

Wrap Up

The new Mi 11T Pro comes in 3 stunning colors including Celestial Blue, Meteorite Gray, and Moonlight White. The price is roughly $830 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB, and around $930 for 16 RAM and 256GB. Its release date is October 1st, but you can pre-order it a week before that which starts now.
