Rhodes Global Scholarship is looking for outstanding young
leaders who are motivated to engage with global challenges and to promote international understanding and peace.

Students who are not from existing Rhodes constituencies
Award:
A Rhodes Global Scholarship covers all University of Oxford fees, as well as the University application fee, and a personal stipend. In addition, one economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the scholarship and one economy flight back to the student’s home country at the conclusion of the scholarship are covered.
The tenure of the Scholarship is two years, subject always to satisfactory academic performance and personal conduct. Subject to an application process, the Scholarship may be extended for a third year for those who take a recognised route to the DPhil (PhD).
Eligibility:
The following eligibility criteria apply to all applicants for the Rhodes Global Scholarships:
Citizenship & residency: Candidates who are eligible to apply from any of the existing Rhodes constituencies are not eligible for the Global Scholarship.
Age: You must have reached your 18th birthday and not have passed your 24th birthday on 1 October in the year of application. Successful candidates will arrive in Oxford in late September of the year following the selection process. The Scholarship may not be deferred.
Education: Rhodes Scholars must have completed a Bachelor’s degree before coming up to Oxford, to a sufficiently high standard to meet both the Rhodes and the University of Oxford criteria. As a guideline, successful candidates should have achieved (or be on track to achieve) a 1st class or minimum 3.75/4.00 GPA or equivalent.
